Is the GOP only for tax cuts when Obama is against them?

Or is that the GOP is only for tax cuts for the wealthy?

Republicans are against anything that will help the economy prior to November 2012.

"Yes we can" is repeating lies. Democrats *do* want a full year extension. The Senate passed a two-month extension as a compromise that Senate Republicans wanted. House Republicans are now backing out on the deal and trying to extort the country by demanding that the bill also include permission for a oil pipeline that obviously has nothing to do with payroll taxes.

The House Republicans policy is that they won't pass anything that helps Obama (even if they agree with it) unless Obama gives them something else that they want. It's essentially extortion with working Americans as the hostages.

Apparently, only for the rich. Even with a 2010 minority in both house and senate they managed to block tax hikes for the rich. They have successfully managed to fend off Democratic attempts to add a surcharge to pay for the jobs bill and the extention of the working class tax cuts, which suddenly need to be paid for. With all their efforts, it looked like even though the usually gridlocked senate passed a bill, the Republicans can't get it past the chamber they have total control over. The taxes on the middle class go up, January 1, 2012.

They are, of course, crazy about tax cuts for the wealthy. But what is happening now is that the GOP refuses to produce a clean bill regarding the payroll tax, which is of course, what Obama wants. They insist on adding crap to it, although the President said he would veto anything but a clean bill. They are still banking on being able to blame the failure on the President, when the truth is that the majority in this country know damn well who is holding things up - the GOP.

Yeah, that is especially humorous, somewhat. the enormous "compromise" to diminish the Federal funds via $38 billion saved below it cost to enhance the extreme-end tax cuts for 2 greater years ($40 two billion).... that is insanity all around, on each occasion an empire starts off to pass down.

both parties want the tax cut. Republicans are saying no to the instability of just passing a 60 day cut. For some reason, Democrats don't want a full year.

As ALL of the non-retarded know, the GOP already PASSED tax-cuts and DEMOCRATS are preventing them by balking the next step.
