Do UC's Look at Freshman Year?

A few weeks ago i got my report card and i stressed out because i received a 3.8 GPA (out of 4.5). However, i went to and EAOP meeting (early academic outreach program) and they informed me that UC's don't look at Freshman year. Right now im in good shape this semester (4.5 / 4.5 GPA) and im showing great improvement. Im a member of 5 clubs and officer in 2 of them. Im very worried though because it gets very competitive in UC's and im worried i just screwed up my chances of getting in. My big goal is to go into UCLA, UCB, or UCSD.

Yeah, EAOP is right; UCs look at your freshman year, but they don't take it into consideration and they really only look at your sophomore and junior years. Don't stress; you're fine.
