Going with the ace Roy Halladay on this one you can argue in 2011 it was Verlander Cy Young and MVP in the AL or Kershaw NL Cy Young all you want. They had a slightly better year than Roy but Roy no slouch 19-6 2.35 ERA are stats of a quality elite ace. He was second in the Cy voting and 9 Th in the MVP race. Roy last 7 years stats 121-53 2.82 ERA a Cy young 2 second place finishes 1 third. Talk Verlander or Kershaw if they follow up 2011 with monster years we can rest assured Roy will be in the running for Cy Yong in 2012.

It's down to the two 2011 Cy Young winners

    Justin Verlander in the AL

    Clayton Kershaw in the NL

Verlander and Kershaw were by far the two best last year but overall I still think Halladay is on top

Roy Halladay. Yes Verlander won triple crown, but he doesn't have the numbers like Halladay does over his career
