I have 20/50 vision, and I am wondering if I am still able to drive?
I'm 16, and taking drivers ed. I read that you have to have 20/40 vision. I wear glasses and contacts, so am I still able to drive? Is this bad?
My vision is fully corrected when wearing glasses or contacts.

In your state, if 20/40 vision is required that means as long as you have at least 20/40 vision while using corrective lenses (if you can't pass the vision screening without corrective lenses) then you can legally get a license. You'll be fine.
Just bring your glasses/contacts along in case you don't pass the vision test without them. You might even pass without them if you squint real hard.

As long as your corrected vision is okay, no problem. Your license will list "corrective lenses" as a restriction, like mine does. I wish I had 20/50 uncorrected.
