Fishie help please... 1hr.?

Question

I want a Panda cory in my betta tank.

Temp-25C

Ph-TBA

Size- 10 Gal.

Other fish- Betta

Decor- two fake plants and a hideing treasure chest.

What else should i get I have 1 hr. till i leave for petstore.

Panda Corys need 20 gallons minimum. All Corys need to be kept in groups of 6 or more.

The only Cory that would work in a 10 gallon would be Pygmy Corys and you're unlikely to find them at a pet store. You might find them at a good local fish shop.

Very few fish can be kept in 10 gallons.

I suggest that you forget the fish for today, (buy your Betta a plant, Betta log, or some other inanimate object if you're set on a purchase today,) and take the time to properly research and decide on any fish you'll add in the future.

water conditioner, substrate (pebbles), thermometer... research as much as possible. Sometimes bettas are aggressive towards other tankmates, sometimes not. Observe the cory and the betta and if there's problems you need to have a back-up plan (return the cory or put it in another tank.) I used to keep a betta with 2 African dwarf frogs and they did fine. He died later and when I got another he attacked the frogs. So be prepared.
