I have a 2005 Chevy cobalt with a 2.2 engine.?
Does my car have a coil pack or individual spark plug coils?

While some manufacturers use a distributorless ignition system (DIS) that replaces the ignition coil with a coil pack, the Chevy Cobalt uses a DIS that still relies on an ignition coil. To regulate the timing, the Cobalt uses a powertrain control module (PMC) in place of a distributor.
Your car has seperate ignition coils.
