Your 2011 XI based on performances this year?
Make an XI based on performances of players this year.
Mine:
Alastair Cook
Chris Gayle
Kumar Sangakkara
Rahul Dravid
Jacques Kallis (C)
Darren Bravo
Mark Boucher (wk)
Dan Vettori
Graeme Swann
James Anderson
Dale Steyn
The two Openers go in And Gayle hits big while Cook plays steady and Will hit the bad ball to the boundary. If one of them get out then Kumar comes in and can keep the pace up. Dravid can be the rock of the team, and He and Kallis could be dangerous. Darren Bravo can steer the Tail with big help from Vettori.
Steyn can open the bowling with Anderson. Then Kallis can come on to keep the tone and Then Vettori and Swann Eat up and Gayle can also bowl to change the Pace of the game.
Some of this may be worth criticising so please do.
Yeah a test XI sorry.

This is, of course, a Test XI. Other forms of the game are beneath contempt.

Based on their stats for 2011 and not necessarily considering who they were playing, and runs and wickets counted more than averages:

Can't make an Xl, aside from Cook, Sanga, Dravid and maybe Anderson and Steyn (SA haven't played much test cricket), it's been a less than ordinary year.
