I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 online and I downloaded it. But I can't install it.?

Question

The error message was "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect this problem." I have a Mac, and the current software I have is leopard. I downloaded the Adobe Support Advisor and that didn't seem to work either.

Did you contact Adobe directly, talk or chat to anyone, or look up the error message on their support site?
