I am in love with someone?

i am in love with an athlete who i am pretty sure he is gay. we talk regularly and he always gives me that look of "i am cheching you out" however, i am afraid to approach him because he is in the soccer team and i feel like all of his friends will make fun of me if they seee me flirting with him. UGH!

If you are sure he is gay then talk to him. When no one else is really hovering over him and he is practically alone ask him to the movies, or the cinema as my boyfriend says, or maybe to Starbucks like someone above me mentioned. Just ask him. There are only two possible outcomes. Either he wants to or not. If you think he really is "checking you out" then you should try him out. There's nothing wrong with that.
