I need some Car help!!?

02 Lincoln ls v6.

Overheating gauge goes up and down. The place where you put anti freeze has some pink peptobismo stuff in it when it used to be green. Do I flush this housing? If so how do I flush it??? Thanks

Sounds like you may have a blown head gasket, Check for coolant leaks, If none found better put a block tester to it.

Based on your description, I really recommend you take the vehicle to a reputable repair shop and have them look at the cooling system. You're probably seeing the top of the radiator core, though. Is it just low on coolant? If so, where'd it go... puddles on the driveway???

your thermostat is prob messing up. my car did the same thing and all i did was change the thermostat and everything was good again.
