Why wont my mom let me apply sunscreen?

Every time I go to the beach my mom says jason come here so I can put sunscreen on you I try to tell her i can do it my self but she wont listen she says im you re mother and I will do it till you re 17 (im 13) so I run but she caches me holds me in her lap and starts applying it to my face to my face legs and arms mooom i say as i try to wiggle free but she has a tight grip then she starts applying it to my tummy and ARMPITS! and as she does that i swear she starts tickling me but she says its the sunscreen HOW IS IT THE SUNSCREEN

could it be possible that your mum just wants to touch you? if so just say to her you don't feel comfortable with her touching/rubbing you and you would prefer to do it yourself!
