Would it be alright if I entered the Pentagon, took information, publicly disclosed it without permission?
or would it be arrogant of me to assume I was entitled to that?

You wouldn't make it past the front door, so the rest is irrelevant.

They don't just leave that kind of information lying around. It is secured, and you will need both a security clearance and a need to know to gain access to it.
So any information that you could get your hands on is available to the public, and probably no different then what you can find on their web site. Knock yourself out disclosing this public information that they already disclosed.

You would never be able to enter classified areas of the Pentagon. There's guard shacks and door's with badge keys. At best you'd might be able to get a red badge, if you had official business - but never would be privied to classified information.

If you have the ability to just go into the pentagon (legally or not) then you know the answer to your question is NO.
People don't just walk into the pentagon.

It would be stupid to assume you were entitled to that. Do you like prison?

It's arrogant of you to think you'd be CAPABLE of doing that.

No, that would be treason against your country.
