I live near tons of beaches...I live 2 hours North East of the LA area and about 3 from San Diego. Just went to the beach last Tuesday, actually. But I have to say that I'm more of a city girl.

    Do lakes count?

Psh, I don't know, the closest lake is Erie, and i didn't get to see the sand there when I went to Cedar Point. The only beach I've been to is Jax Beach in Florida.

Doesn't have much sand, mostly rocks and shingle. But the little sand is white.
