Can someone help me understand the Martin v. Hunter's Lessee case please?

Ok, so tomorrow i have an oral presentation on the case Martin v. Hunter's Lessee and ive read a ton of documents and summaries about it, but i still dont feel 100% about my understanding of the significance of the case :/ .The main things i know are that lord fairfax passed land down to martin but then the state of virginia gave some of the land to hunter? And that the supreme court reviewed the case and the virginia courts got mad and said that the supreme courts actions were unconstitutional? :/ I feel like im missing a bunch of information and i wont be able to answer questions asked during my presentation, so can someone please help explain it for me? Thank you.
