My kids are flying for the first time witj their father?

I don't know what to expect. I've never flown before so im worried about my kids flying! Any suggestions? They're flying American Airlines if that makes a difference?

Update:

My kids are 3 and 2. They've never really been away from me! This is the first holiday visit their father has had since our custody order. Im worried and just trying to find out everything I can! I've already contacted the airline and asked them a bunch of questions. Guess im just a paranoid mother.

You shouldn't expect anything except that they will get to their destination just fine. There is really NO use worrying because you can't do anything about it. Air travel is safer than most forms of travel these days anyway. tell them it might be a bit shakey sometimes (the turbulence) but it's nothing to worry about.
