Did God make Marion Barber run out of bounds and then swapped the ball from his hands?

If not for either, the bears would've won.

My big question was why the Bears ran essentially the same ineffective running play to Barber about 7 or 8 times.

Sure he ran out of bounds, sure they stripped the ball from him, but why did the Bears suddenly turn passive?

Possibility - I doubt there is much faith in Caleb Hanie on the sidelines.

His errant throw to Barber would have iced the game had he completed it.

That was low football IQ...in that situation, if you're in that situation, you dance around in bounds as long as you can.

@Hale - I actually liked the call...it was the execution that was wretched.

Indeed. The reason he doesn't prevent disease, drought, starvation and terrorism: He's too busy interfering in American sporting events.
