what kind of equipment is legal to put on a retired cop car?

i would imagine it is legal to have a spotlight, pa system, and push bar. so what about flashing lights colored or white, and a siren/horn or headlight flashers?

Each areas traffic regulations/act has different limitations however generally flashing lights and sirens are prohibited, as are any markings that make the vehicle appear as a police vehicle. Spot lights, PA systems and push bars are normally fine if you want to waste the money on them. Keep in mind though that many departments don't bother with push bars anymore but if you "wanna be a wanna be" feel free to add one if you wish.
