Which program is best for 3d interior design?
I'm an interior designer/contractor in NYC and I need to learn how to graphically create 3d models of what my clients' finished apartments would look like, even before the renovation process starts. Does anyone know of one that has a serious realistic feel to it?

As a hobbyist, freelancer, or small to medium sized studio you can use Fluid Designer and Blender as a low-cost alternative to 3ds Max ($125/month) and After Effects ($20/month).
Fluid Designer by Microvellum (based on Blender)
Architectural Visualization by Andrew Price (made with Blender)
