    Plot the inverse of (x + 2)² - 2. Plot y = (x + 2)² - 2. Then, reflect that over y = x. That expression becomes x = (y + 2)² - 2

    I hope this helps!

plug in -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3 in for y and find the x value. then plot those points and draw your graph.

The graph is a parabola (similar to y=x^2), instead of opening up, it opens to the left. Its shifted up 2 units and shifted to the right 2 units
