Robin pushes a wheelbarrow by exerting a 164 N force horizontally. Robin moves it 76 m at a constant speed for 25 s. What power does Robin develop? Answer in units of W. If Robin moves the wheelbarrow 6 times as fast, how much power is developed? Answer in units of W.

use power = work done / time taken
work done = force * displacement made by force.

Work done = 164 x 76 = 12464 joules.
Power = 12464 ÷ 25 = 498.56 watts.
Six times faster means 6 times more power = 2991.36W.Source(s): Physics A level
