· Novak Djokovic: (Finished the year no.1, won the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the US Open, also won Indian Wells, Miami, Madrid, Rome, Montreal, Dubai and Belgrade. Also reached semis at Roland Garros. Finished the year 6-0 vs Nadal and 4-1 vs Federer. Had a streak of 41 wins at the start of the year. Had 70 wins and 6 losses in total throughout the year).
· Rafael Nadal (Won Roland Garros, also reached the finals of Wimbledon and the US Open. Won Monte-Carlo and Barcelona, also reached the final of Indian Wells, Miami, Rome, Madrid and Tokyo. Finished the year No.2, helped Spain to win another Davis Cup title. Had 69 wins and 15 losses this year)
· Roger Federer (Didn't have a good year at the Slams. Reached the final of Roland Garros, fell in the semis of the Australian Open and US Open and in the QFs of Wimbledon. Won Doha, Basel, Paris and the World Tour Finals though, and also reached the final of Dubai. Finished the year No.3, had 64 wins and 12 losses in total, including a streak (still running) of 17 straight matches since losing in the semis of the USO and unbeaten indoors.)
· Andy Murray (Had a consistent Slam season: Reached the final at the Australian Open and semis at RG, Wimbledon and US Open. Won Queen's, Cincinnati, and completed an Asian sweep winning Bangkok, Tokyo, and the Shanghai M1000. Finished the year at No.4, with 56 wins and 13 losses.)

MOST IMPROVED PLAYER
· Janko Tipsarevic (Finished 2010 no.49 and now finishes 2011 no.9. Won two titles, one at Kuala Lumpur and another at Moscow. Reached for the first time QF of a Grand Slam (US Open) and reached for the first time too SF of a M1000 (Montreal) )
· Mardy Fish (Finished 2010 in the top 20 at no.16, and now finishes 2011 inside the top ten at no.8. Won Atlanta, reached the QF of Wimbledon, semis in Miami and Cincy and finals in Montreal and Los Angeles)
· Alex Bogomolov Jr. (Finished 2010 no.166, and now finished 2011 at no.33, had wins over Murray and Tsonga.)
· Donald Young (From no.127 in 2010 to no.39 this year. Also beat Murray at IW, whom he also lost to in his first Tour final in Bangkok.)
· Alexandr Dolgopolov (Finished 2010 no.48 and now finishes 2011 no.15, reached the QF of the AO, beating Tsonga and Soderling. Won his first title in Umag.)
· Kei Nishikori (Finished 2010 no.98 and now finishes 2011 no.25. Reached semis in Shanghai (beat Tsonga along the way) and reached the Basel final beating Djokovic in the semis)


NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR
· Milos Raonic (From No.156 in 2010 to No.31 in 2011, had his breakthrough at the Australian Open where he reached the 4th Round def. along the way Llodra and Youzhny. Won San Jose beating Verdasco, and lost a tough final in Memphis.)
· Bernard Tomic (From No.208 in 2010 to No.41 in 2011, reached the QF of Wimbledon, beating Davydenko, Andreev, Soderling and Malisse to reach that place. Also made it to the 3R of the AO)
· Ryan Harrison (From No.173 in 2010 to No.79 in 2011, reached semis in Atlanta and Los Angeles, also got to the 4R of Indian Wells)
· Matthew Ebden (From No.196 in 2010 to No.86 in 2011, biggest result was reaching the QFs of Shanghai beating Andujar, Harrison and Simon along the way.)

· AUSTRALIAN OPEN: Alexandr Dolgopolov reaching the QF beating Tsonga and Soderling
· ROLAND GARROS: Juan Ignacio Chela reaching the QF beating Anderson and Rosol
· ROLAND GARROS: Fabio Fognini reaching the QF beating Garcia-Lopez and Montanes
· WIMBLEDON: Bernard Tomic reaching the QF as a qualifer beating Davydenko and Soderling
· US OPEN: Andy Roddick reaching the QF as the seed No.21 beating Ferrer in the 4R.
