Help Me With My Pinterest Account Please!?

I want to create a pinterest account. I have already been invited and Im trying to set up an account but it says I need to log into facebook or twitter. I don't have either of those though. Do I have to have a facebook account to have a pinterest account? If not how do I sign up without having to sign up for facebook or twitter?

From what I've seen, it's not possible at this time to create a Pinterest account without Facebook or Twitter integration (probably because Pinterest is a social website). This is a valid concern and hopefully it will soon be addressed. If you still want it, you can create a legitimate, but ultra private Facebook account. You can make it so you have no profile pics and are impossible to search for. Hope this helps!
