What are the main differences between the common and the civil law?

Common law is precedent law which originated in England. It bases the decision of one case as decided in a similar case.
Civil Law is law between individuals.....the state is not involved. It includes tort law. Monetary damages are involved rather than jail time.

How I favor there became an difficulty-free regulation right here in our eye-catching u . s . a .. The politicians are making hay as diverse guidelines are being observed for each community! contained in the eyes of of God each human is equivalent. Then why diverse guidelines for each people?
