does the flue cause stomach ach, nausea?

i'm not talking about the stomach flu but a regular one. because i've got the flu right not and my stomach hurts and i feel nausea and i just hope it's because of the flu, because if it isn't then maybe something is wrong. but if it's the flu it'll go away. i didn't eat a thing since yesterday and it's almost five in the afternoon here, and i barely ate anything yesterday, and the day before that.

and how long does the damn thing last, anyway?

No. The flu causes fever, aches, chills, and fatigue but not stomach ache or nausea. You may be having stomach ache and nausea because you haven't eaten. Drink Canada Dry ginger ale. The ginger in it will make your stomach feel better and stop the nausea. (Some brands of ginger ale don't contain ginger and won't help at all. Read the list of ingredients on the label.)
