Is it okay to take a painkiller a day before donating blood?

I have a huge headache and want to take a Tylenol right now but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to. I'm donating blood at my school tomorrow morning. I heard taking a painkiller will thin out the blood. This is my first time donating blood so I'm not sure if it's okay too. Thanks in advance. c:

As long as the pain killer does not have aspirin in it, it is fine to take a pain killer before donating blood. Best of luck to you, donating blood is a very generous thing to do!

Yes it is. Tylenol does not have any blood thin qualities to it and it extremely rare for anyone to react to it. The only person I know of to a have negative reaction to Tylenol was Bruce Lee and his reaction was something like one 100 million people. Weird hey and quite the bummer too.
