Will a vacuum cleaner kill bugs?

if I placed my hand over the tube opening and create a vacuum, will the pressure inside kill the spiders/ants/cockroaches?

no but the ripple in your vac hose will kill them . I used my shop vac to kill a whole hive of bee and not one came back out . I also use it to get the wasp that comes in side.once you vac them don't worry they will be dead when you open the vac

it will just absorb it but there will be no pressure inside to kill a bug but im sure until you trash out the vacuum cleaners bag it will be dead already

Typically the motion from inside the bag or container will kill them if the journey down the hose hasn't

No and they might crawl back out. Just spray them if you don't wanna step on them.
