Eric is a Clone. I was part of the secret laboratory project that created him many years ago . We also created a few other less-than-successful personas, such as "Charlie Sheen" and "Abe Cool". However, only two of the many have survived thus far.
And..Ta-DA!!! That's how it goes when you outlive your usefulness....
