Luke Weil Associates D.C.?

Wanted to know if anybody has had any dealings or feedback with Luke Weil and Associates in Washington D.C.? I see that they are musuem curators but have not had any luck getting in touch with them to see about touring the smithsonian when I come down from Manhattan, New York.

    That's probably because they don't give tours. Their work, based on their website, is providing consulting and other specialized services to museums.

    Tours of the dozen or so Smithsonian museums are offered by museum staff (some of whom are volunteers). You can find more about the tours on the website of each museum. Start with the Smithsonian website:

    http://www.si.edu

    and then click to the museums you're most interested in. You'll find information about public tours. In general, the museums offer overview tours several times a day, often in different languages.

    For instance, here's information about tours at the Smithsonian American Art Museum:

    Tours meet in the F Street lobby.

    Collection Highlights tours are offered daily at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. (except the second Tuesdays of each month and all federal holidays). Special theme tours, including tours of selected special exhibitions, also are offered. Please see the calendar of events for details.
