Who would you say are the "Big Three" rock bands for each decade of your life?
Criteria for determining the "Big Three" are:
-How many records they sold
-How much of an influence they had on music
-How much they are still appreciated today
Mine:
1980's:
Aerosmith
Bon Jovi
U2
1990's
Nirvana
Pearl Jam
Red Hot Chili Peppers
2000's
Coldplay
Radiohead
Muse
2010's
too soon to tell
I was actually born in the 1970's, but not until '77 so the only music I remember from that era was from Sesame Street and Disney, lol. So I just did 80's, 90's, and 2000's.

Well, I started regularly listening to music since 2007, so I'm just gonna do by year since then.
Just to give band choices more variety, instead of the same by decade.
Pre 2007 - Nirvana, Van Halen, Soundgarden (stuff on the radio)
2007 - Metallica, Judas Priest, Anthrax
2008 - Tool, Alice In Chains, Pantera
2009 - Megadeth, Iron Maiden, various thrash metal bands
2010 - Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Death
2011 - Not sure yet actually
