    i would not use the spelling Alexis because of the fact he will in many cases be improper for a girl. I do like the call for a boy, yet i'd spell it as Alexios or Aleksei. the two are super. i'd bypass with the unique probably - Alexios.

    Elizabeth can also become 'Beth' which I think is a lot nicer than Liz :)
