    With these 250 bucks you cannot buy a full fledged laptop because their prices are very high but you can buy very popular mini laptop with it, it works like a laptop but it has a small screen, for you i think mini laptop is the best choice, it will be ultra portable for you school and it will ease your work a lot, my suggestion is to go for the most popular in mini laptops, it is Toshiba NB505-N508BL which is a 10.1 inch beautiful mini laptop.

    It has:

    It is equipped with intel atom processor, 1 gb ram and 250 gb hard disk

    Windows 7 is included in it

    It has true bright wide led display

    Full keyboard and very comfortable

    Having huge life

    Many useful softwares are included

    To learn more about it, i suggest you to read this actual user comment;

    I have searched it for you and found it here at comparatively better price within your range;

    I think it's a good idea to buy one, but make sure you make a good choice. For 250, your choices are quite limited, but I'm sure you can find one. Try looking at places like BestBuy or local computer stores. The best place to search for them is online, try looking for a netbook. When buying it, don't pay extra for graphics, and you don't need any more than 2Gb or RAM. At the age you are at, go for the best deal, not the cheapest.

    The cheapest will not be very good or do what you need it to do.

    This one is fairly good

    Look for laptops that have many ratings where the ratings are good.
