Unless there are drastic changes in the conditions in Afghanistan or our next president changes our official position on this, then we will be out by the end of 2014. Remember that our progress in Afghanistan is far behind what we accomplished in Iraq. There are very good reasons for this. Iraq was a modern country with modern systems in place. Afghanistan is barely a country.

The Afghanis, and Pakistanies are afraid of one thing, the large, well equipped, Britt trained,India, turn them loose and support them with air power, and intel. Warn China/Russia to stand down, because if we don't start standing up,to the little piss *** countries, evict Nato,as a complete waist. The bailing out of countries, that hate us, OBAMA YOU CAN'T BUY LOVE,or respect.
Turn AFGHANISTAN in to an ash tray! I DON'T WANT to bore you, those who know, the numbers of army's that invaded, fought, then wen,t home, tail between there legs. After helping the AFGHANS win with ground to air missiles, we obandoned them. Had we taken the time and resources to educate, the youth, they wouldn't be an issue today.Source(s): History news tv and paper

No. Right now there are deployment rotations that are continuing to Afghanistan until at least 2014 (as far as I know), but it could be longer than that.

What about the 90,000 private contractors there that we are paying for?
The whole idea of transforming a backward country into a modern one is absurd.

2014. But we'll see if that really happens. Dingbat wants them out sooner but not for tactical reasons but for stroking his liberal azz clown buddies and votes.
