    If around Kuala Lumpur,

    1) Bird Park

    2) National Zoo

    3) Sunway Lagoon - Themepark with various outdoor games - flying fox, bungee jump, watersports, roller coaster etc.

    3) KLCC - Indoor Aquarium, Skybridge and Shopping Mall. (To visit skybridge, please make sure you reach before 8:30am, as the no. of visitors limits to 100 daily.)

    4) Shopping Malls - Some Famous Shopping Malls > Mid Valley, The Garden for Branded stuff, One Utama, Sunway Pyramid, Berjaya Times Square, Sungai Wang, Lowyatt for electronic stuff, Pavillion for Branded Stuff.

    Further abit from Kuala Lumpur

    1) Genting Highland - Famous themepark, children can go for roller coaster or indoor games. Adult who over 21 can go for casino.

    For Beach / Island Tour

    1) Port Dickson - one of the famous beach in west coast peninsular, not that nice compare to east coast but fair enough. However, it's raining season in East coast of peninsular Malaysia, so, it's not suitable for visiting until March 2012.

    2) Pangkor Island

Melacca (The other state in Malaysia lower down abit from Kuala Lumpur)

    1) Red House

    2) A'Farmosa

Penang Island (City typed Island located at northern west peninsular)

    1) Toy's Museum (over 10000 of toys, i doubt so but it's plenty of them)

    2) Batu Ferringhi Beach - Hardrock Hotel

Langkawi Island (City + Beach Island located above Penang, there are daily ferry from Penang to Langkawi)

You can spend 3 days there for doing various activities,

    1) take cable car to visit the sky bridge.

    2) Bird Paradise and wildlife Park

    3) Underwater world - Aquarium

    4) Sungai Kilim Nature Park - the best part of this place as you can enjoy the scene of Eagle Feeding.

Kuala Lumpur: 1. The most fascinating view is the batu cave, 2. Visiting the Twin Towers only in the morning hours. 3. The times square shopping mall, 4. The Kuala Lumpur Zoological gardens. 4. The Birds park, 5. Visiting the Cameroon Highland, just 2 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur. 6. Visiting the shopping areas like little India and China town. 7. The Aquarium nest to the Twin towers.

Penang: Many entertainments. Take a guest house near the Isthana Hotel area, more convenient. have a nice journey with your family. I visited Malaysia last October, 2011. Lovely country.

Visit the Perhentian Islands. It's about 6 hours from KL and a 2 hour boat ride (including waiting time for a boat to come). Long Beach was great. You could see sunrise from one side of the island, walk 10 mins to the other side of the island to watch the sunset. It's wonderful, clean, great snorkeling.

Tama Nagara is fun too. I wouldn't want to be roughing it with children though. I guess if they can handle "camping" type life they would be ok. In Tama Nagara they had real villages of people to visit (you dont stay with them, you stay in cabins). They will teach you how to build a fire and how they make their house and cook. Apparently there's a nature hike where you should see wild animals but we only saw bugs and plants! No wild tigers or anything like they advertised.

KL had good resturants, Twin Towers, some concerts. It's a good city to site see.

Can take a day trip to Genting Resort up in the mountains with your kids good weather about 16C but sometimes its pretty cold in the night. The only casino in Malaysia and lots of shopping ( good prices ) and with fun places for the kids. You can grab a cab at Pudu Raya bus station which cost roughly RM60- 70 one way which takes about 1hr. If you need more detail and cost you can email me, will try to help you with more information.

of direction Petronas twin Tower, by using fact we can shop until we drop there, relatively you could not by using fact the shops are so expensive, I recommend they are all worldwide "very very costly ~ relatively costly!" manufacturers, yet a minimum of what i like the main is the Kinokuniya e book shop on the 4th floor. Love books, love go everywhere the place there are bookstores on it ^_^.
