1. 'Bi' seems more accurate
-- Nolan is open about this, as per his line "I'm a 3 on the Kinsey Scale myself."
-- Tyler could be Gay and simply faking straight: whether closeted or using sex to manipulate :: regardless of the numbers: Straights outnumber gays so sleeping your way to the top is statistically easier for straights
-- no doubt its something they will deal with in future episodes if/when Nolan uses the tape he made of them
2. Amanda and the 'Hooker' (real Emily) not sure if she's a full hooker or just a stripper; met in the Psych Facility that the Victoria bribed the Doctor into committing Amanda to in the flashbacks --- again they will no doubt explain this in coming episodes...
-- as to the mechanics of swapping IDs... it's not that hard with a skilled hacker and decent amount of money... especially one of the people you're swapping is 'buried in the system' at a young age (she went in at 9, and is 27 in the show proper) -- Van Camp and Bowman(Daniel) are a good deal younger than the rest of the actors who are supposed to be their age, so the exact age of the characters is hard to pinpoint (pretty sure they never say exactly either) -- Tyler and Daniel are supposed to have been classmates but according to IMDB the actors are 10 years apart in age
3-- Frank's death and Lydia's awakening makes the most sense for a long story even had they not had Frank find 'Emily' which catalyzed her arrival -- Frank was dangerous enough that had he not found anything it would have made the character look weak
-- he could only be stonewalled so many times before we as fans wonder how he could have been the Grayson's Henchman for so long
-- Lydia isn't pro, and being wounded, she can remain a minor threat w/o losing 'points' plus knowing her history w/ Conrad that adds more friction to the Grayson Marriage, not to mention we've met her Ex as well so he and his new wife can be tied back in
-- w/ Frank we only had hints that he and Victoria had a past (or a future)
