    MAKE MAJOR CUTS IN SPENDING INCLUDING ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS, THAT IS THE ONLY SOLUTION THAT WILL WORK AND THE LONGER WE WAIT TO MAKE THOSE CUTS THE MORE PAINFUL THEY WILL BE.

    The only way would be to make major cuts in Social Security, Medicare and Defense. But if you did every Congressman and Senator that's up for reelection in the next cycle would be voted out. Those that remained would then either put everything back the way it was in the following session or find themselves subject to recalls by their constituents. In other words it can't be done.

    You would'nt. Thats like saying you can pay off your credit card by spending exactly what you make at your job on other things.
