Why do republicans support the federal government imposing it's definition of marriage on the states?

shouldn't small government conservatives be against the Defense of Marriage Act?

Because republicans aren't really small government conservatives anymore. Neoconservatives certainly are not small government conservatives - they are religious fundamentalists, like the taliban.

"Given the fact that 32 blue states have voted gay marriage down, I'd say this question should be addressed to Democrats."

-It should be addressed at both groups, honestly.

Given the fact that 32 blue states have voted gay marriage down, I'd say this question should be addressed to Democrats.

By the way, what in the hell has your golden boy, "hope & change" President done for gay marriage, aside from ABSOLUTELY NOTHING?

Someone has to stop the degenerates. God knows the liberals won't. They want to destroy everything good.
