I'm more interested in who released the Cain story to Politico... how about you and who do you think it was?

It makes no sense that it would be Obama. If he had something like that, he'd want to wait until it was closer to the election.

It makes more sense that it would be one of the other GOP candidates or someone supporting one of the other candidates. Personally, I'm betting Karl Rove. This kind of dirty politics is just his style.

But if it is one of the other GOP candidates and who it was became public, would you vote for him/her?

That it might be someone who knew him at the NRA never occurred to me... if that is indeed true.

According to one of the attorneys, it was "his understanding" that the story was leaked by a member or former member of the NRA who contacted Politico. But not anyone directly involved in the case.

If you think that both sides are not out there digging for as much sh!t as they can find then you are very naive!

It is very likely it came from a Democratic leaning source, but so what! they all do it!!! if Herman Cain was stupid enough to think that this story would never surface then I have no sympathy for him, or anyone else for that matter, Democratic or Republican, and Weiner was an idiot also!!!

Just look at the Birther BS, this was a right wing media propagated story and started out as mere suggestion and as a smear tactic, and you still had leading conservatives, supposedly intelligent people ( Michelle Bachmann) to name but just one willing to believe it, even with all the USA has to offer in investigation and background checking, and three years later we still have idiots like Perry going along with it, just to regain popularity with the nut jobs in his conservative base!!!

We can all point fingers at each for being nasty and hateful and dragging up anything to gain the edge, but both sides have dirt on their hands, Herman Cain has handled this whole thing as badly as anyone could have, mainly by talking about it for 1, and for being inconsistent 2, when he should have taken a leaf out of Obama's book and ignored the speculation until the time was right!!!

Day1: Obama releases his birth certificate, Day 2: Obama makes Trump look like a complete Jacka$$ at a public function, Day 3: Obama directs the hit on the worlds most wanted man, Day 4: Trump virtually disappears from sight!!!
