Why are there so few black people in San Francisco?

    The black community in San Francisco is in the southern part of the city so if you are visiting you would not know that. A large black community as a whole is situated in Oakland and Richmond unless they can afford San Francisco like any other ethnic or racial group. If you have the money you have more choice. As someone else said, African-American percentage of the population in S.F. is very small.

    The Mexicans in San Francisco are running them out. They don't have to fear of being called a "racist" for not putting up with that African behaviour.

    There are very few black people every where. There sprinkled here and there but mostly in the south. They are only 12% of the USA. Here in my area there are few black people
