I just wanna lay in my bed

I just wanna lay in my bed."

Truly, madly, deeply

Bruno Mars的The lazy song

I just wanna lay in my bed. (X)

I just wanna lie in my bed. (O)

I just wanna lay in my bed, so what? (O)

    Fantastic

    >"I wanna lay (myself) in my bed."

    >"I wanna lay you down in a bed of roses..."

    >"If I lay here

    >if I just lay here

    >Would you lie with me and just forget the world?"

    http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/lay

    lay (verb used without object)

    33. (Nonstandard) lie

    把lay當成lie, 是Nonstandard用法, 也就是我所說的「迷迷糊糊」用法.

    To DaSaGwa大大

    lay = make love ?

    一般字典沒這個注釋, 應也是nonstandard用法, 類似sleep.

get laid = be laid

    Longman 第16解

vi [spoken] to be in a position in which you are flat - some people consider this use to be incorrect [= lie]

    Macmillan 第5解

vi [spoken] a way of saying ‘lie’, meaning to have your body in a flat position, that many people think is incorrect

"I wanna lay (myself) in my bed."(字面翻譯:我想要把我自己留在床上)

"I wanna lay you down in a bed of roses..."

Chasing Cars:

    "If I lay here

    if I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world?"

I think it is correct, because "lay" means "to have sex" or "to make love". It is common for American to say "I want to get laid tonight".

Therefore, "I just wanna lay in my bed" means "I wanna to have sex in my bed".

"lay" here is like "lay egg" ...

by the way, the exact meaning here needs more sentences around it to determine.
