Socks and shoes, good or bad for a sprained ankle?

    If you are going somewhere, wear two mid-calf socks on each foot (or just on the injured foot), because that helps keep pressure off of it and will help keep any unwanted pain away when your food gets hit, or it moves.

    if you are still warm outside then wear flipflops

    or sandals with socks

    do not wear anything with heels whatsoever so there is no further damage

    i do not suggest shoes for they can be uncomfetable easily with a sprained ankle and may hurt it more for lack of something. i just would not wear shoes or rainboots. or anything with heels
