There is no definitive yoga text for asana sequence, unless you are Bikram, who claims to be the only authentic teacher.
Setting him aside, an excellent text that presents many sequences and also discusses some of the principles involved in sequencing asana is the book Jivamukti Yoga by David Life and Sharon Gannon and David LIfe. The authors are master teachers who received their lineage from Patthabi Jois, the founder of astanga yoga (as it is known in the west). However, the sequences they present are not limited to the astanga series.
Another master teacher trained by Jois, David Swenson, has published a book dedicated to the specific series defined in the astanga system called "The Practice Manual." A great feature of this book is that he has also created subsets of the primary series designed to be done in 15, 30, or 45 minutes depending on the time you have available to practice. He calls them Short Forms.
FYI - I tried to provide links to the books, but I kept getting errors. Search amazon for Jivamukti Yoga and and Swenson Practice Manual to find the books.
