In Radar Detector terms, is the X Band still illegal for police to use in Florida?

I heard legislation was passed a few years ago in Florida forbidding police from using X Band police guns. This means that I could turn x band detection off in my radar detector and not have to worry about false alerts. Could you imagine?

    I heard legislation was passed

I am willing to BET no such law was, or ever will be, passed in ANY state. They may stop using X band radar, but there is absolutely not reason to ban its use.

they are basically diverse radio wavelengths. basically like diverse radio frequencies can carry diverse radio stations, X, ok, and KA bands are basically diverse recommendations of radar varieties that police use. ok is maximum straight forward, KA is a little extra effective, and X band is the oldest and weakest, no longer used a lot any extra. examine my source link, it is going right into somewhat factor.
