Exe files with a virus?

I have heard that Exe files are more prone to carry a virus with them than any other file ...is this true???

    There are many types of executable files on a computer (.exe, .com, .scr, .bat, .msi, and several more), and viruses need to be hidden in executable code or they can't execute.  So, yes, they are more likely to get infected;  but I'm not sure why you need to know that -- it's not like you can do anything about it.  Pretty much all programs that run on your computer are .exe files.  You can't run a computer without them.

    no. none of them ever have viruses.
