Does shoppers drug mart in canada accept american money?

The Shopper's Drug Mart in Niagara Falls (Lundy's Lane), doesn't accept American money......they have a sing on the cash registers informing customers of that. It costs money to convert it, so if you do find a store willing to accept it, be prepared for a surcharge to cover the costs of the conversion, therefore rendering it pointless to use it in the first place.
This is Canada.....you are expected to use Canadian money here.Source(s): American Grampa gives her American money every Christmas, which she can't use anywhere.

It will depend on where it is, if it is in a border city then possibly but no guarantees. They do not have to accept US currency. You use Canadian currency that you can get in exchange for US currency at many banks/credit unions or exchanges or you can use your debit/credit card.

Yes they will, most businesses will, however they may charge you some level of exchange depending upon where the US dollar sits against the Canadian.

Stores in tourist areas, or border areas might, although they will charge a pretty hefty premium, as it costs the stores as well. But, they don't have to, and in many areas, they probably won't.

No. When you are in Canada, you use Canadian money. When you are in the US, you use US money.
