What should I do with my African Clawed Frog?

I just discovered my African Dwarf Frog is actually an African Clawed Frog - when he tried to eat another frog!!! Now I don't know what to do with him (the ACF).... He's in a 6.6 gallon tank now, he's about a year old. I had him up until 2 weeks ago in a 2.5 gallon tank and he was happy and fine. Now he loves the 6.6 gallon (I know from research he should be in at least a 10.... but he's growing and croaking, etc. and I don't really have the room). Is it really an atrocity to put him in say a simple 5 gallon tank so I can use the bigger one for the ADF and a fish or two?

I have 2 ACFs in a 10 gallon tank. They are doing well and are thriving. They've lived in there for 15 years.
