The best internet service that I can recommend for you hands down is TekSavvy. Although they don't do cable TV services, they offer the best internet service - with a 300GB data cap! Even unlimited cable and DSL internet as well!

To learn more information about TekSavvy's internet services click here:

As for cable TV services, the only cable TV provider that serves Burlington is Cogeco. They do internet services as well, but offer a 60GB cap - depending on the plan. Research on their services at this link: http://www.cogeco.ca/

    I hope this helps.

Here's the rub: The people in Burlington want you to move there because they're bored to death. It's not even Toronto. It's not even a suburb of Toronto. The people in Vancouver, on the other hand, love their city so much and they want you to get even just a glimpse of that. Honestly, there's no comparison. Why anyone could possibly choose Burlington over Vancouver is way beyond me. I'm sure there are reasons. I just can't think of any. Well, regarding weather. Vancouver is a much more mild climate than most of the rest of Canada. It does rain a lot though, so you have to be prepared for that. In Burlington, if it rains, people duck for cover and just stand there waiting for the rain to stop. In Vancouver when it rains, nothing changes. It's going to be raining for a couple days nonstop. I always thought Toronto was tops with immigrants, but what do I know?

I'm in the same situation as you are. What I've found so far price wise and download capacity if you are going to be downloading large packages of data (like netflix) is with COGECO.CA Even the phone and TV bundles are very attractive for the price, good luck in your move.
