My laptop keeps saying "No Audio Output Device is Installed"?

I have an IBM thinkpad in perfect condition. I just installed windows vista and the volume icon can't be clicked on.

Update:

How do I install the drivers, where do I get them from?

You would get the drivers from IBM support

You would install them by entering your model Thinkpad, downloading the appropriate driver installation package for Vista, and once you have downloaded it, you run the installation package.

Did you install your drivers after installing Vista? It sounds like you're missing your sound drivers (and probably a bunch of other drivers) Installing an OS is more than just putting Vista on there. Install your drivers.

Try shutting down your computer and restarting it.
