    Sodium ions.

Acetylcholine binds to its receptors at the muscle cell, which results in Sodium ions entering the cell. As sodium ions enter, they bring in a positive charge resulting in membrane depolarization. The membrane depolarization would lead to the Calcium release from the intracellular stores. Calcium elevation inside the cells results in muscle contraction.
