to say, "No, that's false. He does not want to talk to his parents because when they ask him questions, he does not want to answer".

Is this the right way of saying it?

"Non, c'est faux.Il ne veut pas dire a ses parents car quand ils lui posent des questions, il ne veut pas reponse"

    "parler" not "dire"

    à with an accent

    "il ne veut pas répondre"--vouloir takes the infinitive.

    I'm also not convinced about your reasoning, answering questions and talking aren't necessarily the same thing.
