Koreatown is just a section of Los Angeles. It's like asking what time your neighborhood opens.

If you meant the Koreatown Plaza, it opens at 10:00, (11:00 on Sunday).

There are more Koreans living in L.A. than anywhere else outside of Korea, approximately 100,000.

Go to Koreatown between Oplympic and Wilshire and feel like you might be in Seoul. Hundreds of fascinating shops and businesses all with signs written in the Korean language.

Visit the museim inside the Korean Cultural Center for an informative look at the history and culture of this ethnic group.

The business hours in Koreatown are just about the same as anywhere else in the city. Most business open at 8:00 or 8:00 in the morning.

Koreatown is just a part of the city of Los Angeles. It's known as the largest or possibly the second largest (after Korean Autonomous Regions in northeastern China) ethnic Korean enclave in the world outside of the Korean Peninsula.

There are many Korean-owned restaurants, stores, supermarkets, other businesses, etc. in Koreatown and they all have different hours of operation. So it's best to find out (by calling, looking up online, etc.) about specific locations within Koreatown before going. :)
